So where does the name "Corinium Solutions" come from?
Corinium Solutions (formerly Corinium Hosting) is based in the Cotswolds in the old Roman town of Cirencester. The Roman definition of Cirencester is as follows... "Cirencester Korinion c.150, Cirenceaster c.900, Cirecestre 1086 (DB). 'Roman camp or town called Corinion'. OE ceaster added to the reduced form of a Celtic name of uncertain origin and meaning." (Mills, 1998) The name Corinium is a Romanisation of the town's original Celtic name, perhaps Cironion, the original meaning of which remains unknown!
Corinium Solutions are based in both Cirencester, Gloucestershire and Redhill, Surrey.
